Imagination Island is located just 10 minutes by boat from the town of Gizo and 5 minutes from the airport. The island provides an island getaway experience perfect for couples and families.
There are 1 & 2 bedroom bungalows sitting on stilts overlooking the shallow reef flats on the sheltered south side of the island. The larger bungalows are suitable for families. The bungalows are furnished with locally made wood, bamboo and cane furniture as well as hammocks. All bungalows have private bathroom facilities with hot and cold water and toilet facilities. Bath and beach towels are provided. All bedrooms have fans and mosquito nets. Power is provided by a combination of 240v generator, solar power and battery-powered inverters. Rooms are equipped with power points.
The bungalows are accessed from the arrival jetty and reception/restaurant/bar building by a wooden boardwalk, creating a feeling that you are being taken away to a secluded part of the island.
As you sit at your private deck which offer views of the surrounding islands and sunset, you will also be able to spot many species of fish, small black-tip reef sharks and possibly even manta rays and sea turtles, among other marine species in the waters just beyond your bungalow.
