Surrounded by tropical gardens, Maringe Lodge is located on the edge of Buala Village, 5 minutes’ walk from Buela Hospital. The property i reached via a 45-minute flight from Honiara Domestic Airport, followed by a 15-minute boat ride from Fera Airport to Buala Substation.
Built using local materials, the lodge is also green powered. All accommodation offers a kitchenette with a stove and refrigerator. Each has a bathroom with a shower, towels and linen. You can enjoy a sea view from all the rooms.
MTR Café’ is open every day serving seafood and chicken and beef dishes. The bar offers local beer, wine and soft drinks. The tour desk can arrange bicycle rental, fishing trips and snorkelling tours.
